The Hearts Behind Limon Grille

We are two Turkish cousins—more like brothers, really—born and raised in Turkey. Our moms are sisters, and we grew up side by side, always laughing, playing soccer, and sharing unforgettable childhood memories. From seaside vacations to family dinners, our bond has always been something special, and one thing we have always shared is a deep love for food—both eating it and making it.

Emre made the move to Bar Harbor in 2017, and after hearing countless stories about the town's charm and beauty, the following year, I joined him. Since then, we've both worked in various local spots, getting to know the rhythms of the island and the incredible people who live here. Bar Harbor embraced us with a kind of warmth and hospitality that felt like home—something that resonated deeply with us, as hospitality is a core part of Turkish culture.

Limon Grille is our way of saying thank you. It's our tribute to this wonderful community that welcomed us so openly. Through our food and flavors, we hope to share a piece of our roots with Bar Harbor, blending the best of our Turkish heritage with the spirit of this island we now call home.
